We are located on the first floor of the Franklin Hospital building where a number of complementary businesses, such as Mercy Radiology, Unichem Franklin Hospital Pharmacy, Urgent Care, Pukekohe Family Doctors and Salute Café operate from the same building.

Franklin Hospital was the vision of a number of healthcare professionals who have worked in Pukekohe for over a decade, who could see a strong and growing need to bring specialist services closer to the community. Patients were having to travel to Auckland City multiple times for appointments and treatment and, as congestion increased, patients’ access to medical care was negatively impacted.

Franklin Hospital CEO, Dr Creasan Reddy says, “Opening Franklin Hospital is a proud moment and the result of a vision to provide better healthcare in our region. We’re here for our community and I look forward to leading the delivery of quality care for our residents.” Alongside other colleagues, he embarked on the creation of Franklin Hospital in 2017, which opened officially in August 2021.

The hospital has 2 state-of-the-art operating theatres and an endoscopy procedure room staffed by a team of highly qualified and experienced surgeons, endoscopists, anaesthetists, nurses, and technicians.
